SAFA and Chill – Mokoena hosts successful School tournament
Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star Teboho Mokoena recently returned to his home town of Bethlehem where he hosted his annual under-16 football tournament.
The popular midfielder was seen swamped by local footballers as he initiated his second schools tournament at the Bohlokong Stadium in Bethlehem on Saturday morning.
Spotted alongside teammates Neo Maema, Themba Zwane, Grant Kekana, and Mothobi Mvala in the stands, the latest edition of the tournament saw eight local schools from Bohlokong go head-to-head.
As a gift from the Teboho Mokoena Foundation, every player who represented their school at the tournament received brand new PUMA soccer boots and shin guards.
“Champions deserve champion treatment,” the Mokoena Foundation posted on Instagram.
“We returned to NTSU Secondary School—last year’s tournament winners—with a special surprise
“Every player who represented their school received brand new soccer boots and shin guards, proudly sponsored by PUMA South Africa”
