According to a new report in South African football media, Bafana Bafana attacker Mihlali Mayambela is believed to be keen on the idea of heading back home in the near future.

While the 28-year-old began his senior career with Cape Town All Stars, Mayambela spent the last nine years turning out for European clubs such as Djurgarden, Farense and most recently Aris Limassol in Cyprus.

Now though, according to iDiskiTimes, Mayambela is said to be ‘willing to listen’ to offers in South Africa.

The same report mentions that Mayambela prefers a move to Kaizer Chiefs, ahead of the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

As it stands, Mayambela has one year left on his contract with Limassol and could be considering a ‘dream move’ to Naturena, according to iDiskiTimes.
