Ndamane apologizes for passport saga
TS Galaxy defender Khulumani Ndamane has expressed his disappointment after missing out on the opportunity to represent Bafana Bafana during the recent CAF 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ndamane, who was initially called up to squad that recently faced Lesotho and Benin, did not possess a passport and was therefore unable to travel across the South African border.
With Thabo Moloisane replacing Ndamane in the squad, the Galaxy star revealed that he has now sorted out his passport situation.
“I was disappointed, and I’d like to apologise to everyone who believes in me,” Ndamane told the Sowetan.
“Honestly, it did hurt me to miss out on the opportunity to be in the national team because of a passport but sometimes you have to accept setbacks in life, and I believe maybe it was not my time yet.
“I’ve managed to get one, so now mine is to continue working, hoping that I’ll get that chance again.”
