Cesane leaves Saudi Arabia, with Gauteng looming
Banyana Banyana star Noxolo Cesane has parted ways with Saudi Arabian club Eastern Flames, less than a season after joining.
Cesane signed a one-year contract with the outfit and it seems she has opted against returning with two games remaining in the campaign.
The midfielder was part of the Banyana squad that defeated Malawi over the two international friendlies at the beginning of April.
It is understood according to Centre Circle that she could make a return to the Hollywoodbets Super League.
The 24-year-old has been spotted in Gauteng with TS Galaxy Ladies, with Mamelodi Sundowns ladies also a possible destination.
Cesane departed from UWC in September last year, shortly before the end of the 2024 Hollywoodbets Super League campaign.
She played a vital role in the team qualifying for the CAF Women’s Champions League for the first time. The dynamic player has also played for Stade Reims in France, as well as UANL Tigres in Mexico.
