
Broos announces Bafana squad for Tanzania and Mozambique friendlies
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has named his final squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Tanzania and Mozambique.
The South African national team are gearing up to face Tanzania at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 6 June before taking on Mozambique on 10 June at the popular Loftus Stadium.
Broos initially announced a 42-man preliminary squad last Thursday, which was subsequently trimmed down to 23 players that will report for camp on Sunday.
The initial squad featured 12 new players who are yet to make their debut for South Africa’s national side, with Broos previously stating he would use international friendlies in the off season to assess new players and give them the chance to impress.
