SuperSport United goalkeeper Ricardo Goss is a professional footballer who also is part of the South African national football team.
Goss is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and he started his career with Lamontville Golden Arrows. He also had spells with Real Kings and Bidvest Wits.
The 30-year-old has named Brian Baloyi as his inspiration, saying that he admires his style and also wanted to grow dreadlocks like him. Goss also named former Spain captain Iker Casillas as one of his favourites.
At the 2023 AFCON, he received a bronze medal with Bafana Bafana at the tournament and said it was one of the most memorable moments of his career.
He names his hobbies outside of football as reading, hiking and go-karting with his family. His favourite time of the year is the off-season where he can spend more time with his loved ones.
“One of my goals is to uplift the next generation through my foundation. I want to empower young people in Chesterville to pursue various professions, not just football, by providing resources and support,” says Goss about his aspirations.
